Enjoy a relaxing weekend camping under the stars at Klondike Park, 250 acres off of Route 94 between Defiance and Augusta, in Missouri’s scenic wine country. This premier camping destination features white sand beaches surrounding Klondike Lake and trails that connect to the historic Katy Trail. Our campgrounds feature six primitive cabins that sleep eight (one is handicapped accessible), as well as 43 campsites, which include five new sites that are situated high atop a bluff overlooking the park.
A shower house and restrooms are open April through October. The built-in camp kitchen has a cook top, a sink, stainless steel countertops and electrical outlets. **For the public’s safety, as of June 2, 2020, the showers and camp kitchen are unavailable due to COVID-19. Please check our website for updates**
In addition to the overnight facilities, the park has more than 5.5 miles of natural-surface and paved trails; a bluff walking trail that overlooks the scenic Missouri River Valley, where you see tremendous views of the birding/wildflower area; fishing in the large lake; a group council ring or amphitheater area, which features a large fire pit.
