45th Annual Hermann Wurstfest 2026
The Wurst Fest of the Midwest ~ A Celebration of All Things Sausage!
Friday – March 27, Saturday – March 28, and Sunday – March 29, 2026
Professional meat processors attend from all over Missouri with samples of products for sale.  There are professional and amateur sausage-making competitions, Kraut-making classes, German dancing and music, and the crowd-pleasing Weiner Dog Derby that may well turn Hermann into the Weiner Dog Capital of the World!

2026 Events Scheduled:  (Tickets on Sale Now!)
1.  Braunschweiger Ball ~ Friday, 3-27 starting at 5:00 pm
Make your favorite Braunschweiger recipe and enter the contest.
2.  Gourmet Sausage Sampling ~ Saturday, 3-28, 9 am to 5 pm & Sunday, 3-29, 10 am to 3 pm
(Pre-Sale Tickets are $10 per Person.  Day of Event – Tickets are $15 per Person)
Two Locations – Ticket price covers entry to both locations each day.
** Location 1 –  Stone Hill Winery Sherry House – 1110 Stone Hill Highway
** Location 2 –  Hermannhof Festhalle – 237 East 1st Street
3.  Sauerkraut Making Class $40 – Two Class Times ~ Saturday, 3-28 at 1 pm and  3pm
Location for class – Wagon Works – 314 Gutenberg; Pre-registration required; Pre-registration link
4.  All you can eat Sausage Breakfast ~ Benefitting the Hermann Volunteer Fire Department
Sunday, 3-29 starting at 7:00 am at Hermann Fire Department 214 East 2nd Street; Cost – TBD
5.  Wiener Dog Derby ~ Sunday, 3-29 at 2 pm; Hermann City Park
Dog entries $20 per dog and must show proof of current vaccinations.  All breeds may participate in Talent or Costume contests for $10 each contest per dog; (Derby wieners free).  Registration of Dogs in the event will begin at 12:00pm, pre-registration strongly encouraged.
