After six years of planning, the Schulze Nature Preserve is open to the public. It is a 25-acre forested, hillside parcel located off Bluff Road and features two wooded nature trails, one easily hiked, the other more rugged.
The nature preserve includes rolling hills; rich soils; towering, diverse trees; narrow streams; woods and lots of turtles; crawfish; deer; turkeys; squirrels; woodpeckers and a variety of birds. It is located at 370 M. E. Frick Drive.
