Although the Ozark Quilt Trail Organization disbanded Jan 1 2019, the quilt block squares remain throughout Pulaski County.
The Quilt trail began as an incubator project lead by the Pulaski County Tourism Bureau. In September of 2014, the Bureau met with members of the Gone to Pieces Quilt Guild and the Pulaski County Historical Society to begin work on the development of a Pulaski County-wide quilt trail.
Ozark Quilt Trail’s mission was to bring Pulaski County communities together with a public display of art that celebrates the folk art of quilting and quilting traditions. The Art showcases the area’s roots and honors our farming and family traditions, as well as educating people on heritage and historic sites. The objective of the Ozark Quilt Trail was to piece together vibrant history and heritage one quilt block at a time.
