The J. Huston Tavern has been serving meals to travelers along the Santa Fe Trail since 1834. The brick tavern maintains the flavor of the 1850s, including the original wood floors in the lobby.
The tavern’s four dining rooms serve hearty country fare including pan-fried chicken, tender sliced beef, and Chef Janet’s award-winning breaded pork tenderloin, plus delicious sides and desserts (including those mouthwatering fried pies!).
Reopening in spring 2021 and serving you from our brand new kitchen. Open weekends April-May and October-December, and Wednesday-Sunday (and Tuesdays when there’s an Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre performance) June-September.
