At Günter Hans, we like fresh food – that’s why we go the extra mile. Nothing beats bretzels served hot out of the oven, house-made Sangria, imported beers and wine, sandwiches other goodies. We like our food authentic; that’s why most of our selections are made from scratch, in-house or prepared by skilled artisans we share values with.
For Günter Hans, it all began in 2009 when the company’s founder, Lydia Melton, studied abroad in Belgium. After months of traveling, Lydia fell in love with the cultures and artisan-style foods found throughout small European towns. Upon her return home, Lydia began seeking out companies that offered similar foods, only to be disappointed when they all fell short of her memories. In desperation to recreate the artisan-style European foods, the idea for Günter Hans was born.
