A. Lewis and Clark State Park
Wake up refreshed and take the morning to explore all that Lewis & Clark State Park has to offer. This park is well known among birders – William Clark described the lake as “full of geese & goslings” and it is still home to many bird species to this day. Check out the visitor center, take a hike, fish on the lake, join the fun on the playground or simply relax at your campsite.
B. The Weston Red Barn Farm
A perfect place for families, Weston Red Barn Farm is a working farm that features traditional farm animals and crops. During fall harvest, the farm comes alive with its annual Fall Festival; so make sure you visit on a fall weekend, starting Labor Day weekend through the first weekend in November. Activities include a pumpkin market, The Barnyard, a corn maze and hayrides pulled by either tractors or horses. The Dinner Bell serves fun farm food for lunch and dinner on weekends as well. After your exciting day, return to your digs at Lewis and Clark State Park's campground and get a good night's sleep. You're heading home tomorrow.
