The race is part of the 4-Day Party in the Path which celebrates the April 8 solar eclipse when West Plains will experience approximately three minutes of totality. It will be run on the trails at Galloway Creek Nature Park, with proceeds to benefit West Plains High School Zizzer Cross Country & Track Teams.
Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. Race starts at 8 a.m., with awards ceremony at 9 a.m. The cost is $35 and includes t-shirt, water bottle, cooling towel, custom medal and bib. Participants limited to 300. Register by March 24, 2024, to guarantee t-shirt size.
Plaque awarded to overall male and female winners. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place stickers for medals awarded to top 3 male and female runners in each age group which are: 9 & younger, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 70 & older.
