Galloway Creek Nature Park is a 40-acre tract owned by the city, used as a recreational park. Galloway Creek, a 5.3 mile long tributary creek, runs through the property. The park is maintained by various civic organizations, local Boy and Girl Scout troops, environmental agencies and the City of West Plains.
Areas in the park serve as a “green area” for wildlife, maintaining the natural habitat of native plants and animals. Amenities include a covered bridge, a pavilion, a play area, walking trails and picnic tables.
The park is a great place for families to spend quality time together, enjoying the outdoors and learning about nature.
