More than 100 of Weston’s pre-Civil War buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Weston boasts seven churches, seven bed and breakfast inns, a hotel, six restaurants, more than 30 shops, the Red Barn Farm, five museums, a snow-ski resort, a state park, a city park and a long list of fun events.
Weston Historic Museum exhibits depict life in Platte County from prehistoric days through World War II, including household items, tools, glassware, china, furniture, historic documents and everyday items of the past. Weston is north of Kansas City; from I-29, take Exit 20.
