Wallace State Park

This heavily wooded park is a favorite of birders and solitude seekers. It features campsites, hiking trails, picnic sites, an open picnic shelter and an enclosed shelter. Fishing and small boats are permitted on Lake Allaman, but ramps are not provided.

The park is located 6 miles south of Cameron. Trice-Dedman Memorial Woods, owned by The Nature Conservancy, is nearby.
