The Vigilante’s launching point is the open-air deck of Inspiration Tower, 170 feet above the ground, on Inspiration Point at the Shepherd of the Hills.The Vigilante ZipRider operates four parallel cables, carrying guests one-half mile, at speeds reaching 50 mph, across the 160-acre Shepherd of the Hills homestead. The Vigilante is a seated, hands-free, no-worry experience, where guests only have to sit back and enjoy the ride.The Vigilante is open to riders 75 pounds to 275 pounds, who are between 52 inches and 80 inches tall. The Baldknobbers were a group of vigilantes that were infamous in the Ozark Mountains in the late 1800s and play an important role in The Shepherd of the Hills story.
