Uranus

Uranus is a pit-stop like no other with fun for every member of the family. With 10 big attractions, and growing, visiting Uranus is an out of this world experience to remember forever! Uranus is located in the Heart of the Ozarks and on Historic Route 66. As a unique and popular stop on Route 66, Uranus offers a fun, offbeat, humor that is popular with travelers on Route 66 and I-44.

On the property, visitors can find the world-famous Uranus Fudge Factory. As a visitor walks through the door, they're greeted with, "Welcome to Uranus!" Inside the Fudge Factory, visitors can observe the fudge being made through an observation window. You won't be able to resist the best fudge around. Just one taste and you'll be asking for more! Visitors can take a look at the Fudge Factory General Store where they can buy the world-famous fudge. The best fudge comes from Uranus. The Uranus Fudge Factory and General Store prides itself on having a friendly staff who is always willing to help visitors find whatever they need in Uranus. We have a wide array of products that we are sure you will love. Try one of our favorite products, the lavatory mists. Spritz before you go and Uranus will be smelling incredible! We also have items like our famous Hillbilly Weather Nuts. Watch our local nuts swing in the wind and bounce when it's hailing. It's a foolproof way to tell what the weather is outside Uranus. For those that are brave, or even just a little weird, we have unique types of creepy crawly candy that will leave you wondering if they're real bugs or delicious sweets! The Uranus Fudge Factory and General Store is full of unique, unusual, fun, funny items that will bring a smile to anyone's face.

Visitors can also find, in Uranus, Fort Uranus (AKA Mission Outpost Outdoor Outfitters). This outdoor center boasts an indoor, climate-controlled gun range with a rental case for those interested in trying out a huge array of different types of guns, but the best part of the outdoor center is that it's mid-Missouri's archery headquarters. The helpful staff of experts can answer any questions about guns and bows, or they can just give guidance on whatever subject a visitor might need. You can visit with the guys on Facebook or just be entertained by their brand of Uranus humor, because everyone in Uranus has a great sense of humor!

For those looking for the weird, yet educational, or maybe just a piece of American History, a stop in the Uranus Sideshow Museum is a must. You can see a sword swallower, but the best part of the museum is all the historical pieces from sideshows and circuses. The Uranus Sideshow Museum boasts a huge collection of animal oddities such as two-headed animals, including a live two-headed turtle. There are other live animals in the museum including Arthur, our beautiful Macaw, who occasionally delights visitors by talking to them. The museum also features the strange and unusual like Unicorn skulls, Fiji Mermaids, a Chupacabra, and artifacts from famous sideshow performers, as well as a magic shop. You can check out more about the Uranus Sideshow Museum on Facebook and see photos of all the characters that call it home.

Next door to the Uranus Sideshow Museum is Escape Uranus where you can attempt to solve the clues and puzzles to escape one of our uniquely themed rooms. The clock is ticking, will you be able to break free? Try our challenging escape rooms destined to put you to the test! Each with exceptionally thrilling stories to make you really think on your feet. Will you be able to escape The Uranus Dental and Proctology Clinic? Make sure to check for clues and break out before Doctor Keen returns! How about Da Vinci's Office? When Leonardo goes missing, it's up to you to save the hero or you'll all perish in Uranus forever! Electric fun happens in Uranus, especially now that Escape Uranus has opened the Tesla room. It even comes complete with a Tesla coil. The room was designed by Katya Kadavera, Uranus' sword swallower, and Lindsay Teal and is a completely original design that cannot be found anywhere else. Escape Uranus is adding new rooms all the time, so each visit will bring a player something new to try. Check Facebook for the latest at Escape Uranus.

Ever tried axe throwing? The Uranus Axehole offers a fun experience for visitors of all ages. Start practicing your swing with our Indoor Axe Throwing. This individual sport will make your heart race as you throw axes to a target. If you like darts, you'll love Axe Throwing! This thrilling game will keep you on your toes, so stop by and put your skills to the test!
