Tingler Prairie Conservation Area

On-half mile of the South Fork of Spring River meanders through the east side of this 240-acre area. Approximately two-thirds of the area is open, and about 65 acres are classified as woodland. This area contains prairie and forest.

Facilities/features include: Tingler Lake (three acres) and a permanent stream. The area is located south of West Plains: Take Route 17 south from West Plains about six miles to County Road 9100; take 9100 west to County Road 8110; then travel south about one-third of a mile to the access.
