Popular for hiking and biking activities, the St. Joseph Parkway winds through the city, connecting principal parks and recreation facilities.
As a part of the City Beautiful movement, it was developed in 1918 by internationally known landscape architect, George Burnap. St. Joseph was one of the first cities in the United States to prepare and follow through with a comprehensive parkway plan.
Note: The address shown is the northwest terminus of the parkway at Krug Park.
