The Saint Louis University Museum of Art hosts exhibitions that feature single-artist, as well as thematic exhibitions of historical and contemporary art. The museum’s permanent collection includes artists such as Chuck Close; Robert Motherwell; Jasper Johns and Kiki Smith. Individual galleries are devoted to Dale Chihuly glassworks, The Aushwitz Etchings and Jesuit artifacts dating to the first Jesuit settlement in St. Louis.
