Springfield Contemporary Theatre presents a wide variety of year-round productions. SCT provides patrons with a premiere grown-up theatre experience producing new award-winning plays and musicals as well as new takes on some classic works. Post-pandemic, SCT can be found producing outdoor work at its new Operations Center or indoors at the Springfield Art Museum auditorium.
SCT is dedicated to the production of contemporary works and works that can be re-energized through a contemporary view and through an intimate staging while using outstanding directors, local actors and guest professionals throughout the season.
Box office hours: Tues-Fri, 11am-5pm; one hour prior to all evening performances. One performance weekends, 2-5pm on days of evening performances or 12-2pm on days of matinee performances.
