In 2010, Schindler’s Tavern was named one of the best burger joints in the United States by USA Today. Located in the southeast Missouri town of New Hamburg, Schindler’s claim to fame isn’t baloney. Actually, it is entirely baloney: what makes their burgers the best are the homemade patties are topped with a slice of fried bologna and smothered with grilled onions.
