The Sainte Genevieve Art Center & Art Museum has ongoing exhibits of original fine art by local artists, art history exhibits featuring the area’s rich cultural heritage, art classes for adults and children, a library and gift shop.
The Art Center is host to an annual Plein Air painting contest each September, a high school art show in April and a Holiday Show at year’s end.
Pick up a copy of the Art History Trail Map and make discoveries about art made in the area by Woodland and Mississippian tribes, by John James Audubon, and the members of the 1930s Art Colony, among others.
