The River, Rails & Trails Museum is located in the Visitor Center of the Depot District and highlights Boonville’s transportation history. This free and family friendly museum houses a half scale Lewis and Clark keelboat replica, model train display, steamboat memorabilia, an authentic wagon with Santa Fe Trail history, Civil War exhibit, Kemper Military School history, and Boonville’s highway era. This free family friendly museum has great restrooms, interactive children’s area as well as a scavenger hunt activity for kids. The museum has a great gift shop, clean restrooms and lots of area information.
