Reynolds County Museum, Genealogy and Historical Society

Dedicated to the preservation of Reynolds County’s past in book form as well as acquisition and display of Reynolds County artifacts. Our research library numbers more than 1,500 volumes pertaining to Reynolds County and neighboring counties’ censuses, marriages, cemeteries, family histories, industries, as well as like material from other states.

Our museum houses artifacts pertaining to farming, carpentry, lumbering, railroading, everyday household-use items, President John F. Kennedy dishes, military memorabilia, woodcarvings and other pieces.
