Powell Symphony Hall was built in 1925 and originally housed the St. Louis Theater. In the 1960s, the grand structure became the permanent home of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, the country’s second oldest symphony orchestra. Today, the 2,698-seat hall is a focal point of St. Louis’ Grand Center Performing Arts District and hosts a variety of concerts throughout the year.
Public tours (for groups larger than 10 people) are available by appointment.
