See modern-day craftsmen turn split oak strips into one-of-a-kind baskets, vessels that are still as handy today as they were 100 years ago. Sit down at the quilt frame, put on a thimble and try to make 12 stitches to the inch, like your grandmother did.Listen as a prize-winning fiddler makes his instrument sing the old songs. Exhibits change seasonally, always celebrating the history of Ozark County and the region. An extensive genealogy library is on-site with research assistance provided upon request. The Historium building itself is a restored General Grocery building.
