Scenic views from limestone bluffs and woodlands await at this park. Located on Mark Twain Lake, the park features campgrounds, camper cabins, boat ramps, hiking trails, a swimming beach, shelters and an organized group camp. Fishing is available on Mark Twain Lake and on the 4-acre Tom Sawyer Lake, located near the junction of Highway 107 and Route U.

The park contains Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site, which features the cabin in which Twain was born.
