The Margaret Harwell Art Museum was founded in 1981 with money bequeathed by a local business woman and patron of the arts, Margaret Harwell. The museum is housed in The National Historic Registered Moore-Dalton Home.The museum houses a large permanent collection of art work in many mediums and has many special exhibits throughout the year.The Friends gift shop offers original ceramics, jewelry, prints, books and other gift items.Art classes for adults and children are conducted through the year.
