Chef Peter Grünauer, along with members of his Kansas City and Vienna-based family, serves Germanic cuisine in the historic Freight House in the Crossroads Arts District. They bring Austrian inspired cooking and atmosphere to downtown Kansas City.
The menu focuses on authentic representations of classic Austrian and Continental European cuisine, crafted with care, prepared simply, served in generous portions. Specialties are Szegediner (beef and pork goulash), Schweinebraten (roast pork), and several sausages.
