Gov. Daniel Dunklin's Grave State Historic Site

Gov. Daniel Dunklin, Missouri’s fifth governor, served in that office from 1832-36. He is credited with founding the state’s public school system. This site chronicles his role in Missouri history. It also features a scenic overlook of the Mississippi River.

The site is unstaffed and is managed out of Mastodon State Historic Site in Imperial.
