Located near Kahoka, this conservation area offers a diverse range of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. The 2,158-acre area includes a 108-acre fishing lake and a 13-acre constructed wetland. More than a mile of the unchanneled Fox River meanders along the area’s eastern border. There is a boat ramp on the lake; a wheelchair-accessible fishing area; and a rifle and archery range. A small camping area, with pads and potable water, is available; other camping is allowed adjacent to parking lots, some of which have privies.
