The Fort Leonard Wood Region welcomes visitors from throughout the United States and we are excited you are planning time in the region, whether you are making the area your home while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, or visiting for a Military Graduation. The four counties surrounding the Military installation; Pulaski, Phelps, Laclede and Texas, offer unique attractions and recreational activities to enhance the visitor experience. The region is nestled in the Ozarks providing scenic landscapes, majestic bluffs, and gentle rivers. Rich history surrounding Route 66, Trail of Tears, Civil War, and our proud Military.
