The Dexter Welcome Center & Train Depot Museum is a unique stop for visitors interested in local history and small-town charm. Housed in a beautifully restored historic train depot, the museum highlights the story of Dexter and features a detailed model train display that delights visitors of all ages. A life-size caboose is also located on the property, offering a memorable photo opportunity and connection to the city’s railroad heritage.

In addition to serving as a visitor information point, the depot is frequently used as a community gathering space. The main room seats approximately 40 people and is available for private or community events, meetings, and small receptions, subject to availability.
