Dexter Bar-B-Que serves dry-rub style barbecue; ribs are their specialty! Other items include pork steak, pulled pork sandwiches, beef brisket and smoked turkey. Barbecue chicken is on the menu every Wednesday. Drive-thru and call-ahead available; catering and limited delivery available.
Dexter, Missouri is the original location (and namesake) of Dexter Bar-B-Que’s first restaurant. The location evolved from 32-seats in 1991 followed by an upgrade to 90-seats in 1996, then moved to the current site in 1999 with a capacity of 146 seats The restaurant has a separate drive-thru area for easy pick-up and banquet room facilities that can accommodate 45 people.
Meats are slow-smoked (briskets up to 15 hours) in wood-burning barbecue pits.
Additional locations in Sikeston, Cape Girardeau and Poplar Bluff.
