A circa 1900 castle on a hill, Bothwell Lodge represents early 20th century extravagant living. It was built by Sedalia lawyer and politician John H. Bothwell. Visitors can take a guided tour of the lodge and enjoy hiking, mountain biking and picnicking.
Fees are charged for tours; access to the site grounds is free. Visit the official website for information about tour times and fees.
The site is approximately 6 miles north of Sedalia off Route 65.
