The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art houses one of the finest collections of American Art in the Midwest. The collection is housed in the original William Albrecht home, which underwent a major expansion in 1991. The historic home is the perfect backdrop for works by artists such as Mary Cassatt, Rembrandt Peale, Thomas Hart Benton and Wayne Theibaud. The AKMA Cafe serves lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The museum's gift shop offers a great selection of local art, keepsakes and children's items.
