The Charles Bed and Breakfast is the newest historic bed and breakfast in St. Joe and was fully restored at the end of 2017. The Charles is an American Colonial Revival Style house built in 1898 as an income property for Samuel Westheimer, a merchant in the wholesale liquor business. The house has a hipped roof with roundhead dormer and a full width covered front porch supported by Ionic columns.

The Charles has four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. You can rent the whole house or by room. We can accommodate a family of eight. During the restoration, attention was made to maintaining historic architectural integrity while adding a new kitchen and bathrooms. It is appointed with period correct antiques. We have one room which is named The Pony Express Room to honor of St. Joe’s heritage.

You can reserve accommodations throughout the year through our website, www.thecharlesbnb.com or via VRBO,  AirBnb. There are many pictures on our website as well as a short video. We update events going on in Saint Joseph and surrounding areas on our Facebook page to make your stay more enjoyable. You can contact us at 661-270-0065.
