The park offers 18 rustic cabins, each with a fireplace; kitchen; full bathroom; heating and A/C; outside grill; fire pit and picnic table. Available April to October.
The park, named for a former Missouri governor, dates to the 1920s. It encompasses 5,323 acres of the St. Francois Mountains. It features trails, canoeing, a nature center, a store and grill, camping and picnicking in a scenic setting.
