Historic Iron Horse Inn — Hermann

This 1898 Queen Anne Victorian is located on a quiet, tree-lined street. The inn has modern conveniences, including central air conditioning, heating and ceiling fans. We offer four guestrooms, all with private bath, free Wi-Fi, TV and many other amenities. 

Breakfast is Continental-Style with an in-room stocked personal refrigerator, coffee brewer, and a basket of fresh fruit and baked pastries.

The Victorian Room (first floor) has a king-size four-poster bed, an electric fireplace, a whirlpool tub for two, shower and double sinks.

The Captain's Room (second floor) has a cozy sitting area within a window tower, a king-size pine sleigh bed and a bathroom with an antique claw-foot tub and shower.

The Sun Room (second floor), offers a queen-size bed, reading chairs, a walk-in shower for two and its own outdoor balcony.

The Sweet Dreams Room (first floor) offers a queen-size bed, a leather reading chair, a small desk/vanity and a bathroom with a shower.

Within four blocks: Amtrak depot, riverfront park, bicycle rentals, micro-breweries, wine-tasting, museums, art gallery, the Showboat Theatre, the amphitheater, restaurants, sausage tasting, antiques and gift shops. We are on the Hermann Trolley route.

In the nearby countryside: wineries, mead-tasting, golfing, zip-Line adventures, hiking, farm tours, Our Lady of the Sorrows Shrine & Church Museum. The Katy Trail is two miles.
