Main campground:
This campground features basic and electric campsites, as well as a special-use area. During the on-season (April through October), campers have access to showers, water and a dump station. Potable water is available at the park office during the off-season.
Reservations can be made online or by calling 877-422-6766. A $2 per night camping discount is available year-round for senior citizens (65 years and older), people with disabilities, current and former military personnel, and family members of active-duty military personnel. Proper identification is required to receive these discounts. Visit our camping rates page for more information.

Special-use camping area:
The park’s special-use camping area is designated for group camping, with nonprofit organizations and youth groups having priority. The area is available for $2 per person, per night and can be reserved by calling the park at 573-443-5315.
Additional park features:
This reclaimed strip-mine area offers miles of trails for off-road motorcycling, and seven flooded strip-mine pits can be used for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing. A challenging hiking and mountain biking trail is also available.
