Elephant Rocks State Park

At this park, giant billion-year-old granite boulders stand end to end like a train of red circus elephants. A self-guided trail with Braille signage winds through these geologic wonders and takes visitors past the remains of a former mining operation. Picnic sites, a playground and flush restrooms are available.

The park is 4 miles north of Pilot Knob off Highway 21. It is managed by Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site.
