Wings Over Weston is a celebration of bird migration and the arrival of spring.
🦜🐦⬛🌷This annual event is a great way to learn all about birds and other spring phenomena. Activities planned for the day include hands-on arts and crafts (including opportunities to build a birdhouse or a pine cone feeder), games with prizes, live bird exhibits, a monarch butterfly program, native plant sales and guided bird walks.
Most activities will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. However, the bird walks will start as early as 6:30 a.m. and will end by 10 a.m. Some of the bird walks require advance registration. See the schedule below for more information. All activities are free and open to the public.
Call the park office at 816-640-5443 to register for a bird walk or for more information about the event.
