Birds: Birds in Watercolor
Registration period: May 1 – May 30

Location: Twin Pines Conservation Education Center
Come learn about not just the beauty, but the importance of our native birds. We will explore a variety of native species, how to attract them with native landscaping to promote a healthy ecosystem in your backyard and create a beautiful and personal watercolor masterpiece of your favorite winged beauty! All minors need to be accompanied by a registered adult.
All materials will be provided, but if you have your own set of brushes and watercolors – feel free to bring them!!!
Hummingbird Rock Mosaic

It’s finally summer and our favorite little flying jewels are back, the Ruby Throated Hummingbird. These birds are admired for their iridescent plumage, hovering flight, and their love of sweet nectar. Join us for a class to create your own rock mosaic hummingbird as we discuss these unique creatures.
Paddle Sports: Introduction to Kayaking
Registration period: May 21 – June 26
Date: Thursday, June 26, 2025, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Location: Twin Pines Conservation Education Center
Kayaking is a great way to get outdoors and connect with nature. Join us as we learn about the equipment and techniques needed to kayak safely in Missouri before experiencing being on the water yourself. All kayaking equipment will be provided. Bring close-toe shoes, a water bottle, and dress for the weather. Registration is required for each paddler. Ages 12+
