Lamar Fair

Every August, downtown Lamar comes alive with the excitement of Missouri’s largest free fair, now celebrating its 82nd year. With free parking and admission, the Lamar Free Fair offers family-friendly fun and tradition. Visitors can enjoy thrilling carnival rides, a wide variety of vendors, and booths hosted by community and civic groups serving up all your favorite carnival foods.

The fair also features a youth livestock show, an art show, blue ribbon contests, parades and entertainment for all ages. It’s a celebration of community spirit and small-town charm that brings people together year after year.
