Thirteen isn’t often considered a lucky number, but in Missouri, it is. After all, that’s how many casinos call the Show-Me State home. With extra amenities such as spas and hotels, you have everything you need for an exciting night on the town or a long, relaxing weekend near the water. Speaking of water, fun fact! Missouri casinos are often referred to as “riverboat casinos.” According to the Missouri Revisor of Statutes, the casinos must be within 1,000 feet of the main channel, so while they may not be on the river, many afford beautiful river views. Whichever casino you decide to visit, you’ll find excellent opportunities for cozy stays, gaming action, live music and exceptional meals — all in one place.
