Autumn at The Lake
Fun at the Lake of the Ozarks doesn't stop when summer ends. The Lake has plenty to offer during the fall and winter months, too. In fact, with all of the beautiful scenery, the Lake of the Ozarks is one of the best places to travel in the fall for an autumn lake vacation. Enjoy scenic views as you shop, dine and take in local attractions on your fall getaway.

Osage Beach Outlet Marketplace

Work off that cinnamon roll from Stewart's with a little retail therapy at Osage Beach Premium Outlets. You’ll find more than 110 name-brand outlet stores with everything from clothing to kitchenware.

Stewart's Restaurant

Eat one of the massive cinnamon rolls from Stewart's Restaurant, on the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark, and you might not need to eat again the rest of the day. Trust us; they're incredible.

Lazer Force Lazer Tag Zone - Osage Beach

Compete with friends and enjoy the black light, 4,000-square-foot arena at this activity center. There is a full video and redemption arcade.

Timber Falls Indoor Waterpark

It's too cold to enjoy watery fun outside during the fall and winter; good thing this is an indoor water park! Park features include the "Ozark Wilderness" tree house, more than 600 feet of water slides, an activity pool, a 21-seat whirlpool, and a lazy river for tube floating. At Tan-Tar-A Resort.

Baxter's Lakeside Grille

Have a fine meal at this classic American restaurant, which offers upscale yet casual dining. The bluff-top view is spectacular, especially when the leaves change in the fall.

Ha Ha Tonka State Park

If you'd rather sight-see than shop, check out Ha Ha Tonka State Park, where towering bluffs offer a majestic view of the Lake of the Ozarks. The remains of a huge, circa 1904 stone castle are a popular attraction inside this park, which also features hiking and walking trails and beautiful natural features. Ha Ha Tonka State Park is a beautiful destination for those looking for adventurous lake vacations in the fall.

Bridal Cave/Thunder Mountain Park

Cave tours travel over concrete pathways, through the cave's 60-degree Fahrenheit environment. One-hour guided tours begin every 15 minutes. A stalactite adorned Bridal Chapel is inside the cave. This unique tour is a fan favorite for lake vacations in the Ozarks.
