One of the state’s largest historic districts on the National Register of Historic Places, this self-guided driving tour is a leisurely look at architecturally significant residences in Carthage. Travelers can estimate spending a half hour navigating the route in their own car or spend a half day walking throughout the beautiful route.

These private homes were erected between 1870 and 1910 in a variety of Victorian styles. Brochures and maps are available at the Carthage CVB office.
