The USS Aries Hydrofoil Museum is an outdoor museum featuring the Navy’s last Patrol Hydrofoil Missile (PHM) ship. The museum also owns six other hydrofoils, both military and civilian, domestic and international, some in “flying” condition. The Museum sits at the confluence of the Gasconade and Missouri Rivers on the historic Gasconade Boatyard, which was a Corps of Engineers facility operated from about 1889 to 1956.
The site is vulnerable to inclement weather and flooding so tours are arranged by appointment only at or after 10:30 a.m. The Museum is typically open on Saturday and Sundays: 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
