If you want to see glassblowers at work, view amazing glass art made by local artists in our studios, and have the chance to make some of your own, come to Third Degree Glass!

Established in 2002 by Jim McKelvey and Doug Auer, TDG is the only publicly accessible glass art studio and education center in St. Louis. The founders transformed a dilapidated 1930s car dealership and service station into a state-of-the-art glass facility with over 8,000 square feet of usable space. It quickly became the anchor of the neighborhood, now known as the Delmar Maker District.

What started simply as a passion for glass art has blossomed into a multifaceted gallery, studio and private event space. Third Degree offers everyone who visits an opportunity to experience glass and its amazing qualities by shopping our gallery, booking a class or private experience, watching artists creating in the hot shop, or hosting an event in our stunning space.

On the third Friday of every month, TDG hosts Third Friday, a free open house for the public that features glassblowing and flame demos, hands-on glass experiences, an exhibition, food, drinks, live music & more!
