Join us June 20th for Sawdust Fest — a day full of fun! You’ll arrive at Miller’s Rustic Sawmill, the small business that sparked this unique festival to celebrate sawdust and all the amazing things that create it.
The whole town comes to life with the buzz of a working sawmill cutting into a log, a chainsaw artist carving a masterpiece right on the street and artisan makers from across the country gathering to showcase their craft. Watch a wood turner, knife maker, instrument maker, blacksmith and more demonstrate how they bring raw materials to life.
At noon, don’t miss the Best and Worst Beard Contest — always a crowd favorite.
Kids love the petting zoo, and this year the belt sander track will be wide open for anyone who wants to try racing a belt sander at the Sawdust Speedway. Our local Senior Center will be serving breakfast and lunch, while the cheerleaders host a Dirty Soda Bar and Coffee Bar. ERAMS Food Truck rolls in for the afternoon and evening crowd, and at 4 p.m. the cool cars cruise in for Cruise Night. No registration needed — all cars welcome, even the rusty ones.
Enjoy live maker demos, snap a photo at the old‑time photo booth, see the sawmill in action and race a belt sander with a buddy.
There’s something for everyone — and plenty of sawdust to go around!
