The MWR Rec Plex is Fort Leonard Wood’s center for outdoor fun! It features an 18-hole miniature golf course, go-kart track, and the Wallace Outdoor Pool which has a two-story double slide and the Splash Park! Party rooms and a pavilion are also available for birthdays as well as organizational and unit parties. The Rec Plex is sure to meet all of your family’s needs and is open to all Active Duty, Retirees, DoD civilians, dependents, their guests and the general public.
Wallace Outdoor Pool and Splash Park
Wallace Pool is an Olympic sized outdoor pool with a two-story double slide. The pool also features a 12-foot deep end with 2 different height diving boards. Pool parties, swimming lessons and life guard certifications are available.
The Splash Park is a zero-entry area with hoses, buckets and a lot of fun for the younger children.
Mini Golf
This 23,000 square foot miniature golf course features 18 holes of challenging and fun obstacles with a waterfall as the main centerpiece.
Go-kart
Our go-kart track offers a 1,000 linear foot track with many challenging twists, turns and high bank curves. The capability to have 12 go-karts racing at once creates an exciting experience for all ages.
There’s also a grandstand area overlooking the track for viewing.
Drivers must be at least 56″ tall. Passengers must ride with an adult 16 or older.
