Moberly native, General Omar Bradley, was the last Five Star General and the first Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. He was a brilliant tactician who is responsible for the success of the D-Day invasion and, ultimately, World War II. This statue and war memorial commemorate his service and place in history. It is surrounding by monuments to most American conflicts.
