Mozingo Outdoor Education and Recreation Area (MOERA) is a 320-acre parcel of land situated on beautiful Mozingo Lake.  MOERA is operated by Northwest Missouri State Campus Recreation and provides a variety of outdoor education and recreation opportunities, including:  climbing, watercraft, trap shooting and other outdoor experiences.  Climbing elements include the Odyssey Challege Course, Alpine Tower, Carolina Climbing Wall and Team Development Course.  Watercraft includes canoes and kayaks.  MOERA has a trap range with three houses as well as an observatory and multiple nature trails and research areas.

MOERA provides safe, fun and engaging experiential education opportunities, whether you are interested in learning new outdoor skills, staying physically active, or developing teamwork, communication or leadership skills.
